Easter crafts

While my children are taught the REAL reason for Easter, and their need for a Savior and the hope of the resurrection, we do like us some spring crafts!

Of course - Easter eggs -

We made these designs with rubber cement. One of my favorite ways to color eggs!

And of course - these cute handprint lilies -

AND - after my shower, what did I find but this simple word at the base of our beautiful lilies -

I've never heard of rubber cement egg decorating. Those turned out great though. Sort of like tie dye.
I'm a sucker for any kind of handprint crafts. The only thing cuter than little handprints is little footprints.
I kept thinking we'd do some Easter crafts this week, but V has been sick, and we never got around to it. Maybe we will tomorrow afternoon.

I love those hand-print lilies - never seen them before. Very cute idea.

The pipecleaner *Mom* is "Aww cute."
I love your eggs. If I had any memory retention at all I'd file "Rubber Cement Eggs" in there for next year.
I think my tweens are losing interest in Paas and crayons and it'd be nice to Step It Up.

Happy Easter. Rejoice!
